It's been awhile since our last newsletter, and for that I apologize, however, we've been busy promoting Spring Creek on Facebook, revamping our website, spiffing up the campground, welcoming lots of new friends and spending time with "old" friends. It's been busy 'round here!

You really should come and see the place, there are lots of new plantings in the beds around the Clubhouse and Cabana, we've added some new tent sites down by Spring Creek, spruced up the walking trails, and have been working on creating a "Beach" down by the Creek for those who want to enjoy a little more solitude than the always bustling pool area allows. Speaking of the Pool area, in case you haven't been here in awhile, the pool is now heated with a Solar heating system, (Spring Creek is even greener than before) so that the swim season can be extended by at least 6-8 weeks on either end!

We've welcomed several new "Semi Permanent" residents, So Many New Members, and we've made some Wonderful Staffing Changes! We are also in the planning phase of adding cabins for sale along the ridge line above the Pool and Clubhouse area in an expansion plan that we're tentatively calling "Spring Creek Heights". Imagine having a home with a porch overlooking the pool and the hub of activities for the camp! Up at Spring Creek is a Good Place to Be!

We are very happy to have "Scottie" with us as our Newest addition to the Staff, Scottie is a great Young Guy who always has a welcoming smile and a helpful, courteous attitude! He prides himself on helping to insure that you have a comfortable, enjoyable stay at Spring Creek.

It's going to be a great Summer with the usual Holidays to celebrate and hang-out with friends, and we're having a fundraiser in July for Birmingham Aids Outreach with VERY special Guests The Magic City Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence from Birmingham. In case you're not familiar with them, The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence® is a leading-edge Order of queer nuns. Since our first appearance in San Francisco on Easter Sunday, 1979, the Sisters have devoted ourselves to community service, ministry andoutreach to those on the edges, and to promoting human rights, respect for diversity and spiritual enlightenment. We believe all people have a right to express their unique joy and beauty and we use humor and irreverent wit to expose the forces of bigotry, complacency and guilt that chain the human spirit.
